EU AID TO AB PRAMPROJEKTAS TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT‘S TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
2010 04 06
AB Pramprojektas is one of the major engineering companies in Lithuania that provides design development of all kinds of construction works and consulting services. Through its activity the company aims to develop constantly, to invest into new modern technologies, to increase qualification of staff on purpose to propose effective and reliable solutions for clients and to warrant advantage in the market.
For this goal the company carries out the project Implementation of the Management System for Project‘s Technical Documentation in AB Pramprojektas. This project is partly financed by EU. The project is under implementation according to Lithuania for the period 2007-2013 the European Union structural assistance strategy for the Economic Development Action Programme Priority 2 "Increasing business productivity and improving the business environment" means 2.1 E-Commerce LT.
The project’s aim is to increase efficiency of the company’s designing activity by increasing labour productivity. Following activities are provided on purpose to seek this goal: 1. Purchase of software of technical documentation’s management system. 2. Installation of the software and adaptation as per needs of the company. 3. Purchase of laptops with installed standard software. 4. Purchase of server with necessary additional technical devices and software.
Thanks to the technical documentation’s management system implemented through the project labour productivity of the company’s staff will increase because the time required for document’s search, registering and adding to archive while carrying out the designing activity as well as clerical expenditure will fall into decline. It should be noted that purchased business management’s electronic system is innovated and non-standard in extent of the company because it is adapted as per requirements of the company i.e. new system will help to integrate the processes of designing activity through the effective management of technical documentation. This modern product will warrant the quality of process management in the company.
As a result of the project, 2 packages of software will be installed, server and 5 laptops will be purchased. Labour expenditures will decrease thanks to the special management system of the technical documentation and it is planned that labour productivity will increase up to 25 per cent during three years after the project’s development is finalized.
The value of the project under development is LTL 248,054.- European Regional Development Fund budgets LTL 124,027.-. Rest is financed by AB Pramprojektas the executor of the project.
